David Byrne, of The Talking Heads, is not afraid to burn down a house. He doesn’t care if it is your house, his own, or a nunnery. He is going to torch the place and warm his hands by the fire. The Heads are brilliant with this breakdown. David is unapologetic and passionate about his goal. Even if he is insane, he seems to have a good point.

David is an ordinary guy prone to unusual impulses. He is your neighbor, but he never quite fit in. He has had it up to HERE with normalcy and Casual Friday attire. Who can blame him? All those polo shirts, corporate politics and stapled pages… It’s a wonder he didn’t snap before now. And snap he does. He doesn’t mean to hurt your feelings, but something has to catch fire. NOW. That’s right, baby. What did you expect? A barbecue? Don’t be ridiculous.
