Kurt Vonnegut passed away Wednesday.

I woke up overnight - insomnia again. Bored, I checked my e-mail. A friend had left me a message that Kurt Vonnegut had passed away. Very sad news.

I was still in high school when I first read, "God Bless You Mr. Rosewater". After that, I had to read everything. His his novels left their mark on me. Each time I read them again, it remains a personally moving experience.

I admired him a great deal.
