Keep Running For The Finish Line

How many times have to had to go to work on a Friday, expected to leave at 5:00 but you ended up working overtime because the poop hit the fan at 4:30? You didn't leave before your job was finished, did you? Me too. Right on. Check out Barack Obama:

You might not be able to see it in the video, but those people in New Hampshire were standing in the rain. And yet they came, and they stood their ground. They did not give an inch and neither will we. Volunteer, if you can. IT MATTERS!

Good point and video Mojo. Did you catch them last night at the Alfred E. Smith? I think McCain had better writers, but I loved these two from Obama:

"I must say I love the Waldorf Astoria. You know I hear from the doorstep, you can see the Russian Tea Room."

"It's an honor to be here with Al Smith. I obviously never knew your great grandfather, but from everything Sen. McCain has told me...the two of them had a great time together before prohibition. Wonderful stories."

Ha, Lucy. That was in New Hampshire. Umbrellas are for pussies.

I was wondering about umbrellas, too. I could clearly see it raining there on TV. I dunno, is my best answer. Sudden rainfall? Security hazard?

Lucy, they may not have let people have umbrellas, plus New Englanders are hardy people. At the Michelle Obama Rally on Monday, everyone had to leave their umbrellas outside in tubs, marked alphabetically. Now that was organized! It was pouring rain that day.
